The Lion's Den Revisited
When I entered the jungle
in search of the beast,
I was surprised to find the children of god.
I was a stranger there,
yet they welcomed me home.
Come close and I'll make you smile.
I returned to the city
in search of the children of god.
I found only the beast, dancing in the whale's belly.
To strangers there,
it shows no mercy.
Come close and help me to smile again.
